Today’s Feel Better Tip is this yummy keto friendly easy low carb banana pancake recipe. Not only are they low carb and sugar they are high in protein, healthy fats and antioxidants. In addition to this, they are under 400 satisfying calories. I usually eat half and save the other half for the next day.
Easy Low Carb Banana Pancake Recipe
1 tbsp. real butter
1 large egg & 1 egg white
1/2 ripe banana mushed up
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Pinch on salt
1 tsp. of Erythritol or 2 packets of Stevia
2 tbsp. unsweetened coconut flakes
2 tbsp. almond flour
2 tbsp. unsweetened coconut or almond milk
BIG sprinkle of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
1/4 cup of assorted berries
8-9 inch frying pan
Walden Farms 0 calorie Maple Walnut syrup or a small amount of real maple syrup (this will add extra calories). I am not affiliated with this brand but I like it.
Directions: Mix all ingredients together well in a bowl. Melt 1/2 tbsp. of butter in a 8-9 inch frying pan on medium heat. Reserve 1/2 tbsp of butter for the topping. Pour into pan and cook a few minutes on each side to golden brown. Top with reserved butter, 1/4 cup of berries and syrup if desired.
